FAQs

Q-  You read one of my scripts before and didn't charge me anything.  Why have you started charging for this?

A-  While it's true that I never charged any of the 100+ members of the Dallas Screenwriters Association during my three terms as president of the organization, I spent between two and fourteen hours reading each script and providing notes.  While I appreciate the trust so many writers placed in me, it amounted to hundreds of hours helping others without working on my own stories, or spending time with my family.  Now that I am charging for this service, I'm spending even more time and providing more extensive notes than before.  I have deliberately set my fees low so that I can continue to help aspiring screenwriters improve their screenplays, without breaking their budget.

Q- Can I pay with a credit card?

A- Yes, through Google Checkout.

Q-  Are you available to teach a class or otherwise speak to my writing group?

A-  Yes.  Contact Me  Previous venues include The Screenwriting Conference in Santa Fe, AFI Dallas International Film Festival, The Dallas Screenwriters Association, Collin County Community College, LaReunion Comic and Graphic Novel Workshop, DFW IndieClub, and Garland High School.

Q-  How do I get an agent?  Will you help me find an agent?

A-  Write a story that they can't put down.  I can help you with your story, but you're the only person who can decide which agent is right for you.  Search for representation at http://www.hcdonline.com or at http://www.wga.org/agency/agencylist.asp#top
